if theres more than one person in your group, just watch it, and dont say anything about it. And if they do know your watching it, they cant really do much about it besides throw on the cap locks.

In general, if my guild leader and I are in a mostly alliance group, one of us is the leader. My friends know that him and I aren't gonna take crap from anyone; impatient people are booted, and people who can't have decent builds are kicked as well.
But sometimes, you only discover personalities as you play with them. I recall this run we had in FoW, 6/8 alliance, we decided to take it smooth just for the hell of it, crack jokes on vent... leisure run, what. We take 2 PUGs, one being a nuker, the other was SS IIRC, and after checking builds to make sure everything was good, we head in.
5 minutes after, the nuker starts complaining. "Go faster." "You guys are slow." "By now I'm at first tower, go faster!" "I go faster with my 3-man build, ffs. Go faster already!"
We replied that we were bored and just doing this for fun with no intention of doing a speed run, and that if he was getting tired of us, that he should leave. But he kept complaining and complaining... "Ugh by now we should be at forge, OMFG YOU GUS ARE SLOW!" "You're a freaking alliance run, you should go faster!!!"
Alliance response? Monks stopped healing him, he died and left on the spot. We finished the run. This is the type of people that, frankly, are better off our teams than complaining all the time because we don't "meet their standards" (and we'd have if 6/8 of the team didn't feel like rushing around). He admitted having a lot of time, but felt like a speed run.
And yet, in the outpost he was a very patient and polite guy - which is why we took him.
One would say we're jerks for stopping to heal him, but trying to force your group in doing stuff they don't want when they clearly have the choice of either dealing with it or leaving, IMHO is being a jerk as well.

Oh.. so that's why I was reading and wondering where Master Knightfall's posts went.
My absolute favourite time to watch cutscenes, though, is when minions run wild. I know it pisses other people off, so I don't do it with PUGs obviously, but it's nice to laugh when Master Togo's giving a serious speech while a bone minion smacks him from behind.

Watch them, if some one gets annoyed and it's the 2 of you, you start being a jerk to him even though you both know you did it
And if it's more than 2 people, blame it on the quiet person, or the afker.

The game is rated T for Teen. 12-16 year old Naruto lovers and kids who have nothing to do after school or on weekends but play their characters to leetness.
As said before, join a friendly PvE guild and get Nightfall/EotN for heroes. "PUG" is a derogatory name in GW for a reason.

Ultimately the cutscenes are a part of the mission and are there for you to watch if you choose to do so. You paid for them afte all. I think it would be a good idea for you to tell people up front that you intend to watch the cutscenes just as it would only be fair in other situations (where play time is limited perhaps) to request that they be skipped. You can avoid alot of problems by establishing expectations before you start the mission. As regards to offensive palyers....there are more than a few but not as many as it sometimes seems. Remember that by making alot of noise a minority of players grab more attention (and are more memorable) than their numbers justify. Many people here have already suggested finding a good PVE Guild. I second (or thirtysecond) that suggestion but do not suggest giving up on PUGs all together. There are alot of very nice people and good players out there. Dont deprive yourself of the opportunity to make friends. This is a social experience as well as a game, Enjoy it.
